一万多年前，人类定居并出现了农业，引发了人类历史上第一次重大文化革命，文明的曙光伴随农耕的探索悄然来临。人类一方面学会使用工具，探索各种获取及保存能量的可能，以繁衍生存；另一方面总结、记录并传授经验。农业和定居改变了原始人类的生活方式，以农耕为起源，生发了连接现代文明的一次次创造。制作食物成为了人类的第一次文化行为，也标志着文明和手工艺的开始。
在当今物质充裕的时代，食物逐渐转化为一种创造性的自我表达方式，近乎于宗教信仰。通过食物，我们自由倾诉情感、表达观念甚至畅想未来。人类如此不断打破边界，生生不息。
由此，『农造食物计划』正式提出，初衷仅为从设计者身份出发的一种尝试，“以严肃的方式研究当下的食物问题”。2019年，NONGZAO农造设计研发的『太空人月饼』将未来主义视觉带入行将式微的传统节气食品，以此延展出第一步，『农造食物计划』N°1——

Making food has become the first cultural act of human beings, and it also marks the beginning of civilization and handicraft. Through food, we can freely talk about our feelings, express our ideas and even think about the future. So human beings constantly break the boundaries and live forever.
