Black Tea Jun's Laboratory is a graduate design work of master's degree students, and it is also an attempt by her to shift the research focus to sustainable design from the perspective of materials. Material innovation is a timeless solution to environmental issues.

This work started with how can natural bio-materials instead of traditional materials, and in an effort to change the current state that the research and development of new materials can only be carried out in the laboratory. Provided that the users of materials are developers, it is likely that the development of new materials will be smoothly joined with applications. With an elaborate selection, I settled on a biological material named SCOBY as the research object and obtained considerable findings from material experiments and material applications.

I then sorted out these findings and published them in "Mr. Kombucha's Lab", in an effort to inspire people who are interested, to activate the role of collective wisdom, and to promote public efforts in the application research of kombucha, thereby increasing its popularity.
